Lasting Impressions Gift Baskets & Party came about from my love and passion for creative design and celebrations. I truly enjoy working with my clients to bring their ideas to life and create something beautiful and original; tailored just for them.
After ten years of owning and running a brick and mortar candy/gift and party shop, I transitioned to a studio in my home which enabled me to concentrate more on the creative end of the business instead of spending so much time on the business part. I found that our most important asset is not brick and mortar, it’s not inventory, It’s you the customer. It’s about getting to know our clients, creating something wonderful for them, and exceeding their expectations.
I always found that the best part of the business was seeing the delight in a customer’s face when they see their party’s vision come alive. It is then that I know my job was done right and I get a buzz from it.

Creating is a high for me, my love for the celebrations of life exhilarates me. The planning, the hunt for just the right products, the thought that goes into every detail is incredible and exciting. I’m in love with love and I cry at everyone’s wedding. I get to relive the joy I had at my own children’s birthdays, showers and christenings. It all comes back to what I knew all along. In fact, we have had several customers come to us in the middle of their project asking for help and reporting to us that it wasn’t as easy as it looked, it was a lot of work and running around and it was expensive.
Consider the following before you decide: You will need to buy candy in large quantities. You will also have to purchase a variety of glassware, stands, scoops and accessories, most of which you will have no use for after the event. We would supply everything you need as it would be included in your quoted price. You would also need ribbons, bags, labels and décor to make your display attractive as well as packaging to transport everything to your event location. A lot of time is spent researching candy prices, trying to figure out what confections you would need as well as the right quantity per guest. In addition, you will need to bring your supplies back and forth to the venue, design and setup your display then take down and clean up after the event.
